CATHOLIC WOMENS LEAGUE

The CWL was founded in 1906 by Margaret Fletcher who desired to form a league of Catholic women "...with balanced common sense...to use business-like methods and intellectual gifts as excellent weapons, in the service of God". The patron of the CWL is St Margaret Clitheroe.

The Parish has an active CWL and welcomes new members to meetings.
